With more than 60 years of training leaders, Awana has proven resources and relevant training that offer spiritual experiences for kids and help them develop into vibrant leaders at home, church and in their community.
Getting Started is a live training for new and existing leaders. You will learn the foundational principles that make Awana work, how to share the gospel with clarity and confidence, and will participate in a practical demonstration of an entire club meeting.
Whether you’re a new leader or have served in Awana for years, Getting Started has something for you. You’ll not only get practical guidance, but you’ll also renew your passion for children’s and youth ministry

Set the foundation for a ministry effective in reaching kids for Christ! Awana Basics has all the materials to teach 18 unique modules covering the basics of Awana and beyond.
Use the Awana Basics modules for a 3-hour live training or choose individual Beyond Basics modules to provide on-going training through the year.
